An Engaging Predicament

I have made many entries into this blog. Every one of them concern the relationship between Missy and I to some degree. What I can't figure is why I haven't told Missy about this thing.

She knows that I blog, and even that I make entries about the wedding. But I have yet to tell her the address. She has expressed some curiosity here and there, but I never satisfied her. Maybe I'm trying to build intrigue, maybe the delay will enhance the effect of her reading, maybe I'm not sure she'll like what I say, or maybe I just don't like attention.

That last one is probably the most likely, but it doesn't really fit with the whole blogging idea; posting so that all the world can see and yet I don't like attention. I think I only keep blogging because I get no visitors. If people were to take an interest in my blogs, I'd probably abandon them.

Missy is different though. True, in the past, she has not taken well to some of my writing, but we are far past that stage. She knows me well enough to know that my occasional rants don't necessarily reflect the cummulative Tony. But still, I am curious as to how she'll take reading what I've written. I don't believe that she'll be upset, but I do think she'll try to encourage some topics. Who knows, maybe she'll be completely uninterested.

In any case, I'll keep on keepin' on, and hopefully I will be able to keep to the theme of the blog and not digress into the influence the existence of the theme will have upon the theme...

Here's to eating one's own tail... mine needs a little ketchup.
